List of Indian film industry top ten Movies of 2008 : -

1) Ghajini - Aamir Khan's Ghajini hit the screens with unprecedented Openings and Went on to become the biggest Hit of 2008 and the biggest grossers of all time at one point. Another Aamir khan Blockbuster released in December 2009 is the only strong contender to cross the earnings of Ghajini.

2) Singh is Kinng - Akshay Kumar's Singh is Kinng is the biggest opening of an Akshay Kumar movie till date. It is Second biggest hit of 2008 after Ghajini.

3) Rab ne Bana Di Jodi - Aditya Chopra-SRK combination created magic at box office once again in 2008. It is the biggest grosser of this duo till date.

4) Race - Race was first super duper hit of year 2008. Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha, Sameera Reddy ..

5) Jaane Tu ya Jaane Na - Imran Khan and Genlia's 'Jaane Tu... was very popular amoung youngsters and one song 'Pappu Can't dance sala' was immensely popular throught 2008..

6) Golmaal Returns - Rohit Sheety's sequal to Golmaal was a big family entertainer of 2008 and did very well specially in Multiplexes.

7) Dostana - Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachcan starrer was an instant hit. Music of Dostana also became very popular.

8) Jodha Akbar - Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Suniel Shetty starrer Jodha Akbar was one of the most critically acclaimed movie of 2008.

9) Fashion - Superb hit by Priyanka and Kangana ranaut was critically acclaimed as well. A Huge hit in big cities and Multiplexes throught 2008.

10) Jannat - Imraan Hashmi, Sonal Chauhan starrer was one of the biggest musical of 2008.

11) Kismat Konnection - Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan

Singh is Kinng took Multiplexes and single cinema halls by Storm in Mumbai with some Multiplex Running only "Singh is Kinng" in All Screens. This was never seen before in Mumbai.
